  Even though M&S is a shop with good taste, but after all it is a business, did not know you would lower your own quality and manner like this. I thought British people were good and gentle, now my opinion is reserved.

  Today I used my Visa in M&S Gib and was rejected. Firstly I used the same card at the bakery cashier and it was kindly accepted while when I tried to pay it at the clothes cashier, the lady said she could not recognise my signature on the back of the card and asked for an ID, later I was questioned by a group of people and was rejected to use my own VISA.

  I know there are all kinds of security procedures that employees need to follow. But the language hurts. Simply say" Sorry I cannot accept this payment, can you pay with cash" is fine, it is your choice to sell things to me or not, but it is my choice to bring my Passport and show it to you to not.

  I work and I shop here like anyone else, no British or Spanish law says that an Asian person has to bring ID in M&S to prove her right to spending her own money, if you do not want to risk it, just ask me for cash, you staff do not have to treat people like suspicious thief. I showed other of my bank cards to the staff to prove that I am using my own card to pay. Then when she saw it, she questioned, "do you know the pin of these cards? Can you please pay with your other cards?" Of course I know the passwords of all the cards in my pockets, I am not sure if she was indicate any thing else. I do not know why she brought up "The Pin". But that sound very not friendly to me.

  I fully understood it is for the safety reason and security procedure, however, the way she said it was very harsh. "You said you come here and with no ID or Passport with you?"
